The Student Support Services Department has added a new tab to the student page of the ASFA website entitled “Social and Emotional Health”. This page was developed by Student Support Services at ASFA to further support our students and parents in a holistic way that goes beyond curriculum and instruction. We know the importance of mental health and are providing resources here for students and parents to have access to helpful videos, articles, support groups/peer networks, helplines and web links on topics such as coping with traumatic events, thriving at ASFA, depression, mental health, and bullying. There are also helpful tips and articles on how to support a child’s development and mental health through their adolescent years. Please check it out.

Please remind your parents that school will be dismissed at 3 p.m. Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Have a great week!
